How Our Customers Turn Our Tables into Show Stoppers.

At Ironfire, we build strong, sustainable, made-to-order furniture—and our customers keep showing us brilliant new ways to use it. With heavy-duty galvanised steel frames, UK-sourced timber, glass options and over 200 colours and finishes to choose from, our tables and racking adapt to whatever you’re dreaming up. https://iron-fire.co.uk/bespoke-industrial-style-furniture

Starships & Steamships: Lego Scene Stealing Display Tables

When a Lego model deserves centre stage, a coffee table or a Console with top and side viewing windows is perfect. Our “half-and-half” coffee tables pair toughened glass tops and sides with a solid wooden display shelf beneath—ideal for showcasing intricate builds and keeping them protected and dust-free. We even integrate LED lighting on request on our Millennium Falcon table) Cue the sound-reactive lighting when the Star Wars score kicks in! https://iron-fire.co.uk/product/coffee-table
We’ve also helped customers size tables for other epic builds—think Titanic with a soft wash of LEDs that makes the brass plates and lifeboats sparkle. The beauty is in the tailoring: choose your footprint, finish and glass and we’ll make it fit the model, and the room – exactly. https://iron-fire.co.uk/our-7-smart-ideas

The Whisky Library: Wood, Metal, and a Warm Glow

A well-curated bottle collection deserves a stage that’s as considered as the spirits themselves. Our modular shelving and racking system uses strong steel uprights with solid Douglas Fir shelves—available in natural finishes, scorched grain effects and a full palette of colours—so you can dial in a look that flatters labels and glassware alike. (Customers often ask us to colour-match to existing cabinetry or paintwork.) https://iron-fire.co.uk/product/shelving-racking-bookcase-display-storage-room-dividers

Because we prioritise low-VOC, water-based coatings (and wax finishes we trust), you can get the organic, tactile feel of real wood without the harsh chemicals—perfect for a room where you actually want to linger. https://iron-fire.co.uk/information-old/material-options

Distinctive Home Offices: Desks, Racking and Home Bars

Whether you’re building a full Home working setup or a compact study nook, our tables make superb desks—and pairing them with matching Ironfire racking makes the whole space cohesive. We also make a mobile bar on wheels (or without) for gin or any other tipple you prefer. The same industrial-meets-crafted DNA runs through every piece, so your workstation, shelving and storage feel like a single, thought-through system rather than a bolt-on. We regularly supply office and workplace schemes, from meeting tables to room-dividing shelves, all built to size.

The Tortoiserie: An Elegant Tortoise Home for a Loved Pet

One of our favourite recent projects started with a simple brief: “We love our tortoise, but we don’t love her hutch.” Using our console-table format for height and access, we created a glass-topped living habitat that integrates heat and light, provides warm and cool zones, and looks like a piece of furniture—not a compromise. The family calls it their “Tortoiserie,” and we’re a little bit in love with it too. https://iron-fire.co.uk/blog/tortoiserie-tortoise-house-table
